Finding the right fit shouldn’t feel confusing.
At Bandhani Threads, we keep things simple so you can choose confidently and comfortably.
How to Measure Yourself
All you need is a measuring tape and a few minutes.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Keep the tape snug, but not tight.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline (just above your belly button).
Hips
Measure around the widest part of your hips.

A Note on Global Sizing
Sizing isn’t universal and that’s completely okay.
Different regions have different fit preferences:
- India – Slightly relaxed, comfort-focused fits
- US – More standardized sizing with variation in cuts
- UK/EU – Structured fits with tailored silhouettes
- Asian markets – Often smaller, more fitted sizing
That is why we always recommend:
Checking measurements instead of relying only on size labels
Our Fit Philosophy
Bandhani Threads pieces are designed keeping in mind:
- Comfort over tight fits
- Flow and movement (especially for sarees & dupattas)
- Real, everyday wear — not just photos
Because of handcrafted processes:
- Each piece may vary slightly
- No two garments are exactly identical
For Sarees & Dupattas
- Sarees usually come in standard length (~5.5–6 meters)
- Blouse pieces may or may not be included (will be or will not be mentioned on product page)
- Dupattas are typically 2–2.5 meters
